In line with Qatar’s emergence as a major global trading hub and AIPC’s strategy to address the rapidly increasing demand for bulk liquid terminalling, AIPC entered into a partnership with Ras Laffan Terminal in 2003. Ras Laffan Terminal Operations (RLTO) manages the storage and loading of all non-LNG liquid hydrocarbons and bulk sulphur produced within Ras Laffan Industrial City by multiple stakeholders, including AIPC.
RLTO handles a diverse portfolio of products, encompassing condensate and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from offshore operations, refined products such as naphtha, jet fuel, and diesel, as well as gas-to-liquids (GTL) outputs including naphtha, gasoil, and base oils. Additionally, RLTO operates the sulphur processing facility and oversees the shipment of granulated sulphur to export vessels.
